Teen Mission Trip to Panama
June 18-30
Estimated cost: $1,000.00 per person. Applicants will be responsible for raising individual support through sending individual support brochures. Group support will be raised through various fundraisers.
This year those chosen to be a part of the short-term mission team will be traveling to the country of Panama.
Requirements for interested applicants are as follows:
· Students entering grade nine through adults.
· An application for the trip must be completed and returned by Sunday November 16th Applications can be picked up at the information center.
· After turning in your application you will need to sign up for an interview conducted by the mission selection committee.
· Interviews will be conducted on Monday November 24th , from 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
· Each applicant will receive a letter on the selected mission team to be mailed the first week after the interview.
Requirements for those selected for the mission trip.
· Team members must attend all meetings leading up to departure for the mission trip. The trip leader will determine if there is need for an excused absence. Dates for the meetings and fundraisers are listed below.
· Members must attend the scheduled group building sleep over. (TBA)
· Members must attend the area service project.
· Members must participate in all fund raising.
· Members are responsible for raising ($100.00) of the total cost on their own.
· Members are responsible for pass ports or shots if they are needed.
· Member must be continually involved in Student ministries.
